Final call for Belgian studies investigating the relationship between COVID-19 and mental health

Last year, the Superior Health Council Mental Health and COVID-19 Working Group started the Belgian Mental Health Data Repository gathering all the available studies on COVID-19 and mental health in Belgium. The goal of this project was to give researchers, policy makers, health care providers and the general public easier access to the insights of the impact of COVID-19 on mental health.

The repository consists of ongoing studies, preliminary results, secondary data, accepted and published articles with a Belgian population. The analyses of the results of the different studies in the Belgian Mental Health Data Repository have been summarized in a living document. Up until now, seven versions of the living document have been published (https://zenodo.org/record/4966026#.YXFYXy8RppQ). The eighth version will mainly pertain to the studies investigating the second wave of the pandemic.

This call welcomes all contributions that investigate the relation between COVID-19 and mental health and/or mental health care within any population of Belgian citizens. Authors willing to share their (preliminary) results (no raw data) are kindly invited to fill out the following questionnaire: https://vubdochumansciences.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0ieG2RFZUsNuYsK

In case you have any questions or know of other studies which could be of interest for this project, please provide contact details via info.hgr-css@health.fgov.be
