Full membership

Eligibility: To become a full member, one must have a diploma of master or doctor in Psychological Sciences, or in another discipline provided one conducts research in the field of psychological sciences.  

Benefits: Full membership entitles to a reduced registration fee at the Annual Meeting (and free early registration; see conditions on the Annual Meeting website) as well as to many other BAPS membership benefits.

A reduced fee of 45€ is available for PhD students and eligible candidates who are retired or unemployed.

1 year membership - €95

2 year membership - €160

4 year membership - €280

Master student membership

Eligibility:  Student members must be enrolled on a Bachelor’s or Master program in Psychological Sciences.

Description: As BAPS members, students are entitled to a reduced registration fee at the Annual Meeting (including free early registration; see conditions on the Annual Meeting website) as well as to all other BAPS membership benefits.

1 year membership - €0

PhD student membership

Eligibility:  PhD student members must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Psychological Sciences (or related field) at a university.

Description: As BAPS members, students are entitled to a reduced registration fee at the Annual Meeting (including free early registration; see conditions on the Annual Meeting website) as well as to all other BAPS membership benefits.

As a BAPS member, you become part of a larger community of Belgian psychological scientists. BAPS represents both junior (students, PhD candidates, post-doctoral researchers) and senior researchers, from all domains in psychology. By uniting Belgian psychological scientists, we are able to address issues that concern all psychological scientists in Belgium. By being a member of BAPS, you help us to support values that we deem important for the psychological sciences, such as transparency, open science, and collaboration. Moreover, BAPS is a non-profit organisation and we exist thanks to the support of our members. Thanks to your contribution, we are able to organise events for our members, offer members various benefits, and build a thriving community of Belgian psychological scientists.
