BAPS mailing list

BAPS members have access to a mailing list that allows for easy communication with other members.

What is a mailing list?

A mailing list or listserv is an easy way to communicate emails to a large group of people. As a BAPS member, you can subscribe to our mailing list. When you do, you will receive messages send by other members to the mailing list in your email inbox. Moreover, you can send your own messages to the other members. For example, you can share a job opening or an upcoming event with other members.

What are the rules for the BAPS mailing list?

The BAPS mailing list is entirely voluntary and bottom-up. Its content is collaboratively maintained by BAPS members for BAPS members (and interested parties). We ask users of the mailing list to respect the following rules:

  • Have respect for others in your communication.
  • Be polite.
  • Don't post the same message over and over again.
  • Use a good subject line and keep your email short and to the point.

Failure to respect these guidelines may lead to members being removed from the mailing list.

How do I subscribe to the mailing list?

You can subscribe to the BAPS mailing list at any time by sending an email to baps-join@listserv.vub.be. You will receive the mailing list emails on the email address that you use to send this message.

How do I unsubscribe to the mailing list?

You can unsubscribe from the BAPS mailing list at any time by sending an email to baps-leave@vub.ac.be . Use the email at which you receive the BAPS mailing list messages, otherwise it will not work.

How do I post a message to the mailing list?

Simply send an email containing the message that you want to share to baps@listserv.vub.be .

Do you need help?

If you run into problems with the mailing list, please contact tim.vantilborgh@vub.be
