It is with great sadness that we learned that our colleague Prof. em. Karl Verfaillie recently passed away. Karl was editor of our journal Psychologica Belgica for several years and served as a member of the BAPS Executive Committee. BAPS is indebted for his contribution to our society and our science. We wish to express our deepest condolences to his family.

The Second Joint Meeting of the Spanish Society for Experimental Psychology (SEPEX) and the Belgian Association for Psychological Sciences (BAPS) will take place from 9–11 September 2026 in Valencia, Spain.
