The Belgian Association for Psychological Sciences is looking for candidates for the 2022 BAPS Early Career Award. The award recognizes the scientific excellence of researchers in psychological sciences up to 6 years after their PhD. All types of psychological research have an equal chance of receiving the award regardless of the specific psychological subdiscipline or whether it concerns basic or applied psychology.
The applications will be assessed by an external jury of senior international researchers appointed by BAPS with regard to the domains of expertise of the applicants. The jury members will be suggested to BAPS by the national associations of psychology that are active in the Board of scientific affairs of EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations, http://science.efpa.eu/).
The winner will receive 1,500€ and will give a Prize Lecture at the Annual Meeting of BAPS in 2022. The winner is invited to contribute to a paper for Psychologica Belgica.
