We wish to clarify the eligibility criteria for the BAPS Best PhD Thesis Award 2025. The initial call for applications specified that candidates must hold a PhD in psychology. However, the Executive Committee recognizes that excellent psychological research is also conducted in neighboring fields. To ensure inclusivity, we will also consider applications from candidates whose PhD is in a related field, provided their thesis falls within the domain of psychological sciences. The Executive Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submitted thesis meets this criterion. To ensure fairness, we are reopening the submission process for this year’s award. If you or someone you know refrained from applying due to the original eligibility wording, we encourage you to submit your application under the updated criteria.
