Join us for our online workshop titled "An Introduction to Simulation‑Based Power Analysis in R: Longitudinal and Multilevel Data," offered for free for BAPS members.
Our speaker, Dries Debeer, will introduce simulation-based power analysis in R, a flexible approach to designing well-powered studies when traditional formula-based methods fall short. This workshop will focus on research designs involving correlated data, such as longitudinal and multilevel models.
What to expect:
- Key principles and challenges involved in setting up simulation-based power analyses.
- Examples: intensive longitudinal data (eg, experience sampling designs with auto-correlated residuals) and experimental studies with crossed random effects.
- Practical guidance and tools to help participants design and evaluate their own simulation-based power analyses in R.
