Junior Board President / Representative

Main responsibilities and tasks 

  • Chairs JB meetings
  • Present the annual report
  • Supervising the different workgroups within the Junior Board (webinars, workshops etc) : leading, supporting and checking 
  • Represents BAPS JB when needed
  • Junior Board Representative at the EC: require discretion and assumes to be present once a month at the EC meetings
  • Setting the main strategy for the future of BAPS JB in coordination with EC
  • Report back to the EC and JB via the annual report 

Specific requirements 

  • Leadership and organisation and delegation skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • People-oriented
  • Knowledge of BAPS’ and BAPS Junior Board’s values and goals
  • Interest in management of a non-profit organisation
  • Responsible

General requirements

  • Strong command of the English language (understanding, speaking & writing)
  • Able to work with Microsoft Office and virtual (communication) tools (Skype, Zoom, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack etc.)
  • A passion for teamwork
  • Available to attend (team) meetings (in person or digital)
  • Available to attend and help at events organised by the junior board

  • The mandate runs from the for each academic year, from September 2022 until August 2023.
