Monthly newsletter introduced, allowing BAPS to communicate more easily with its members and share information about events and job offers.
BAPS ethical committee workgroup brought together representatives from each university to discuss procedures for ethical approval. This resulted in, amongst other things, a consensus statement on which types of research should be submitted to medical ethical committees.
BAPS supported the expert group Psychology & Corona, that published regular reports with expert advice during the covid-19 pandemic. This expert group later evolved into "Psychology & Society".
BAPS expert list created, allowing full BAPS members to be listed as experts that can be contacted by media.
BAPS junior board created, allowing junior researchers to organize activities and have a bigger impact in the governance of BAPS. The BAPS junior board has organized several workshops and organizes a specific track of sessions during the BAPS annual meeting. Participation in the BAPS junior board has also been recognized as an activity for doctoral schools.
BAPS organized symposia at ICPS.
BAPS representatives at BFP, Compsy, EFPA represent the interests of Belgian researchers in psychology.
In coordination with BFP, BAPS organized a Eurpsy National Awarding Committee in Belgium (https://www.efpa.eu/europsy).
